HAPPY DANCE HOLI!

There’s nothing wrong in using water to celebrate Holi. We have the facilities so why not?

The enjoyment in pouring a bucket of water atop a friend… 
that is the equivalent volume of water used by a farmers family for a period of 3 days, on an average.

Thousands of farmers are struggling for their livelihood, giving up on life due to paucity of water. And here, roughly 100 litres are used by a person playing Holi, thats 4 times the normal consumption.

It would be great if we the Dance Community gets united in the conservation of water.

Nevertheless, who needs water to get drenched, We’ll DANCE instead and get drenched in sweat.
And why colours, when we have dance to colour our spirit, energise ourselves and partake in the vibrant harmony of moves and rhythmic steps.
